The World's Billionaires
Where The (Still) Rich and Single Mingle

The recession rages on. For the young, fabulous and unattached, the party does, too

For the mega-wealthy, as the seasons change, so do their hangouts. "Travel hasn't really changed very much among our clientèle," says Bill Fischer, founder of Fischer Travel Enterprise, which arranges trips for folks willing to shell out a $100,000 fee upfront to be a client (and $25,000 annually after that).

For single socialites, bars and restaurants are the stage but not necessarily the draw. Many of the hottest destinations have earned their place on the circuit because of a local cultural event--say, a charity fundraiser, fashion show, sporting contest or art festival. Others just have a certain je ne sais quoi.

1. I got an error message with your link,
but I snooped around, and found the article you so thoughtfully posted.

This link should work: http://tinyurl.com/c7waba

2. And some folks here think they aren't laughing at us
They think we should play nice

I hope those rich fucks enjoy their stays, since WE FUCKING PAID FOR IT

4. Really, you think everyone rich is in banking?
I knew a few ultra-rich people through my work (and no, I don't surf on their wealth, apart from an occasional ride in an expensive car). They got that way through successful and diligent work over several decades in the fields of computing and entertainment. Enither you nor I paid their way. I am pissed off at AIG & co. as anyone, but I don't buy this notion that anyone who's rich must have gotten hold of their wealth by ill-doing.

5. What? Don't put words in my mouth
The people who looted our treasury are laughing at us

Not the banking industry

Not even all the financial titans

But the folks who ripped us off, and stashed their cash in the Caymans

That's who

6. I didn't. You seem to have some comprehension problems.
The point of the question mark is to ASK if that is your belief, because the implication of your words is that we are paying the bill for rich people in general. I now return you to your regular outrage thread.
