We were paid this weekend using the new tax tables under the ARRA of 2009!
Yes, we got less deducted from our payroll. It is enough that we can afford to go out to eat more often if we choose to. Or more to apply towards the fundraiser for our kids' school this month.

Yes, a range of $40-$60 a month in less taxes can help a family of four do more for themselves and their community.

I know there is a downside, too.

Let me know when the freepers turn there tax savings back to the government since they don't abide by the ARRA.

3. The Bush* tax cut was bigger for us. My hubby makes a decent
living, so naturally * wanted to give us more money than the family next door that struggles to make ends meet.

We will happily keep whatever cut we can get since the tax pressure has been pushed down to the local level. Our property taxes are outrageous, but I'm fine with paying them since my sons go to a pretty good school.
