Former VP Cheney's ongoing disassociation with the import of 9/11...
Cheney's first disconnect was that 9/11 wasn't a moment in time round which to rally so much as it was a point of departure for the personal aggrandizement of himself, his family, and the corporations & share holders he has always worked & delivered for

There are others; like his using 9/11 as an excuse to reinvent 'the glory days' of he & Rumsfeld through the heady era of a Nixon gone mad illegally bombing mountainous regions cause they could, specious body counts, shouting American citizens down, knocking heads bloody when they all ran rough shod over everyone but themselves ah...the memories

Cheney's latest walk down memory lane really proves the downside to why even though one may be able to raise the money, gather some backing, get their name on a ballot they have no place running let alone serving America in any governmental capacity in that Cheney states further...

That there has been no new terrorist attacks against America since 9/11, states it as a thing the bush admin can be proud of and in that pride sees himself, and we all know he does, as a major player/primary architect of that 'reality' but here's the deal to that...

Among bin Laden's plans was to pull America down from within her financial core. That was the preferred image of having the towers come down. They knew that an America with school yard bullies and bully puppets: bush & Cheney at the wheel would not be able to resist sending the same old Jolly Green Giant to fight an asymmetric war they didn't understand, to stomp around and shoot things up, kill masses of people, destroy whole landscapes in a never-ending war...and be willing to go bankrupt to try to keep from admitting that errant, misguided machismo is and always will be a failed foreign policy,

Cheney is a fossilized dinosaur that is not able to recognize, likely cause he was himself never on the front lines of anything but the M-I-C and global corporatism; that the attacks of 9/11 have never really subsided, they continue according to plan to bring America down from within her financial core. It is in the headlines of every paper here and round the world but cannot be seen let alone read by fear mongering opportunists such as Dick Cheney, that feel they are the only ones able to make the news

For all their and his early on jibber-jabber about the asymmetric nature of this 'war on terror'...Cheney may have failed to understand his own urges such as why *does* he care so little for Americans outside his orbit; and so likely failed to heed even his own advise so to how to keep America more safe. With among his greatest 9/11 disconnects being of late with John King on CNN as he fails yet again to understand his own words such as they are, "The war on terror continues" but in a completely different form than he is able to understand,

It is time for Dick Cheney to sit in that rocking chair and rock for a time, and begin to attenuate his mongering fear
