I've been back in the States for almost six years now after living in Canada (well, Toronto, anyway ;)) for seven, and the only thing I've been able to think about since then is how I can get back. It's even part of the reason I decided to go on to my Ph.D. after my Master's. More immigration points (my landed status has expired).

I'll have to keep an eye out for chicken -- er, shoe -- cannon clips on YouTube. I'm laughing just thinking about it! :rofl:

19. I worked for an American company that transferred me to their Toronto office.

I was getting really homesick (my dad was in ill health ... thankfully mostly recovered now) so I left and moved back to the States. I started grad school a couple years later.
