I hope I am not the only person that this habit is starting to annoy. President Obama has been on TV just about everyday. He has to in order to get in front of all of this mess.
However, since his speech to Congress last month, he is always talking to the left of the camera and the right of the camera...but NEVER straight ahead. It is almost as if he is talking to the room and not the people watching. Content is certainly more important than style, and dipshit bush ALWAYS stared blankly ahead as a deer in headlights, but for the love of God, PLEASE look forward once and a while.

I get that there a way too many freeper threads that bash Obama backwards. This is not one of them. I too want content and we certainly get it. As I said, I just find it distracting.

4. That's the drawback of the double-panel teleprompter

the speaker has to stay focused on the screens, and the side-to-side gives the appearance of talking "to" the crowd, but on camera, it looks awkward..

When he addressed the Iraqi people in his speech at Camp Lejeune, it seemed awkward that he didn't look straight into the camera to talk to them.

But I'd still rather watch him speak than almost anything else I can think of.

10. boy people on this site sure get on Obama's case for everything!

I guess there isn't anything this guy does right. What really gets me annoyed is coming on DU every day and finding one complaint after another about a president who is truly trying to do a good job and working hard. Thankfully in the real world most everybody I hear thinks he's doing a fine job and looks good on TV.
