Nothing will make up for the loss this poor woman and her family have suffered, but it will help her with rehab and also ensure her daughter is taken care of.

4. If ever there was a meritorious lawsuit
this is it, and I hope the injured woman wins. The owner should have known the animal was dangerous. It had bitten two other people, plus the owner was warned by an animal control officer that the chimp's behavior was worrisome.

That the monkey wasn't stable when she went over there. They both didn't know what they were doing. Now granted you would have to sue someone to pay the medical bills and therapy afterwards. It's a sad story no matter how you look at it. The chimp should have been taken away after the first or second bite years before.
