1. Cooper, Davis, and Gordon in Tennessee will most likely vote for it

The Democratic Party here has a lot riding on the 2010 elections, so much so that they are going to need support from the national party and the Obama administration to get support on the ground. If they vote against this measure, they are pretty much guaranteed not to receive that critical help. These three are also in danger of losing their seats if the GOP retains control of our state government and push forward with their redistricting plans.

I've spoken with Congressman Davis at a function recently and he most certainly knows this and acknowledges the political reality of the situation. I'd be very surprised if he didn't get on board with this. The other two are in the same situation so I tend to reason that they will see the light.
