President Obama's Final Four: UNC, Pitt, Memphis, and Louisville. Champion is UNC
Edited on Wed Mar-18-09 12:03 PM by MadBadger
He picked only on real upset with VCU over UCLA, and Temple over AZ state. He also picked 10th seed Maryland over 7th seed Cal, though thats not much of an upset.

8. He's not going to win either KY or TN in 2012 and doesn't need help in Conn. so UNC would be the

logical choice for him. Them or Pitt, he probably thinks Penn is more solid for re-election than NC.

16. Louisville pick wouldn't have helped in Ky
He wouldn't have helped himself in Kentucky by picking Louisville. We are a thoroughly divided fan base.

I don't know if Duke and UNC divide North Carolina like that or not? Could a UNC pick alienate Duke fans? (Did the president know that Ty Lawson is hurt?)

Didn't the President visit the UNC team during his campaign? I remember seeing something like that and thinking it was cool.
