Bayh's Coalition of the Shilling (for Republican values) announced
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2009/03/18/1841651.aspx

More: "Leading the new group are Democratic Sens. Evan Bayh of Indiana, Tom Carper of Delaware and Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas... thers joining the group are Sens. Michael Bennet of Colorado, Mark Begich of Alaska, Kay Hagan of North Carolina, Herb Kohl of Wisconsin, Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Joe Lieberman of Connecticut, Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Bill Nelson of Florida, Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Mark Udall of Colorado, and Mark Warner of Virginia."

So, half of the usual suspects and just about all of the Democrats elected in 2008. Boy oh boy, aren't you glad we elected more Democrats just so they could then hold hands with the Republicans and obstruct the President's agenda?

Which one will be the first to show up at a Tea Party?

10. me too! and my homestate joke, Landrieu, will be getting a call today
How fucking stupid can she be? There are few and far between Dems who have been SO closely fucked over by the repuke BushCo and still, time and tim again, in lockstep to try knocking Louisiana back another 20 years.

5. Yeah, what's their excuse?
They need to preserve 20+ margins to satisfy the books in Las Vegas?

6. several just elected dems, too, but given the states they represent I'm not surprised
Kohl continues to be a disappointment here in WI--though polls always show him as being more popular with Wi voters than Feingold.

11. I sorta agreed with Tommy T
When it was suggested that he might run against Kohl, he said the major difference between them was "Bucks vs. Brewers".

Here I thought his easy re-elections were based on money. I wonder what accounts for his popularity? Could it be a function of the media, that Feingold is taking more shots from conservative newspapers? Or from Republicans who plan to run against him? Do TV ad campaigns get run against him even in non-election years? "Tell Senator Feingold ..."

9. We Don't REALLY Have a Majority in the Senate. We Haven't Had since 1994
The "blue dogs" give the Repiggies a working majority on everything that matters.
