Obama is quite the joker- did anyone see this?
Cowen was 20 seconds into his second address when it dawned on him that he was giving word for word the speech that Obama had just read from the same teleprompter.

Cowen stopped and looked back at the president to say, "That's your speech."

Obama laughed and returned to the podium to offer what might have been Cowen's remarks. In doing so, President Obama thanked President Obama for inviting everyone over....

Obama joked about the free-flowing bar and warned his guests not to wear lampshades on their heads in front of the cameras.

(I know it's faux- but I thought it was funny)

5. Much like his pick for Treasury Secretary?
Sorry, couldn't resist.

But I like the bracket, although I have no interest in most of the teams this year aside from just being a fan of basketball. His is very similar to my own with a few exceptions - I have Wake going to the Final against UNC, with UNC the winner.

2. He really is. I saw that documentary about one of his visits to Kenya
and he was joking with a whole village through an interpreter. :)

4. i think a good sense of humor is a sign of intelligence.
not that there are comics out there that are stupid, just that they are not usually all that funny.

6. It was also really nice of him to cover for Cowen
who probably should have noticed it wasn't his speech. Obviously he doesn't write what he speaks, but he doesn't even read it first? So who is running the world, the leaders or the speechwriters? Are our politicians just actors now just like our nightly news readers? I just think the whole thing is hilarious.
