. . .I resent Liddy's confidentiality clause on the bonuses. BULLSHIT.

NON ELECTED public servants have their salaries published regularly and Illinois our salaries were available on the internet.

BULLSHIT!

1. It should be possible to get the names of all the employees
in certain departments at AIG. We can assume they all got the big bonuses -- unless some of them come forward and state they did not get them. This sort of thing is simple.

This is why I objected to the bail-out. It is a cover-up for massive corporate mismanagement. Normally the stockholders would sue for damages, but since the government has paid their damages, they have no shareholders' suit. The purpose of shareholder suits is, among other things, to have the right to get the information about who stole from or mismanaged the company.

The bail-outs should have been done only on condition of full disclosure to the American people about what happened and who did it. Crimes are being covered up. And the Bush and Obama administrations are responsible for the cover-up. Sorry, but both administrations are to blame at this point. Obama has the opportunity to bring the full disclosure that is needed.

Contracts do not protect people from criminal investigations. And AIG should be investigated for criminal wrongdoing if it is not already under investigation.

3. I agree.
My husband is a federal employee.

It takes a about 5 minutes for someone who knows how to use the Google to find out our income.

It is bullshit.

Liddy looks like he has a pile of shit in his pants.

5. Considering I worked for Blago it was very likely there were more than a few. . .
. . .folks downstate (where he was always unpopular) who had a bone to pick with me and my colleagues.

I understand the concern re: threats but how many threats to other high profile individuals get? The concerns for threats is no excuse to cover up who got the bonuses.

6. There are a lot of people that would like to
torture or burn the house down of federal and state employees. The reich wing has done a good job of teaching people to hate the government and all that work for it.
-child of a federal worker that had to regularly check for bombs in the womens room on her floor after threats.
