Because we need to understand....
AIG executives need to explain to us about all employees farther down the food chain who while not critical are important to empower the American taxpayers to receive maximum value from our investment. So I ask AIG to identify each employee who received a bonus last year of any kind who received a bonus of $5,000 or less. Surely the finest janitor or receptionist added this much value. When the smoke clears, you added or subtracted value. Surely a winning janitor got a better bonus than a losing arbitrager, right. Because this is all tied to performance. How much did the lowest paid receptionist get? Or is performance only rewarded at level "X" even if actual performance yields only "Z" in terms of return.
