18. Barack doesn't have that 'hint' of sleaze ... no "good ol' boy" wink-and-a-nod.
Bill was GOOD ... VERY good ... but I always got an overtone of "Slick Willie" ... and I was NOT surprised he had such terrible taste in 'playmates.' If it turns out that Barack's little head is taking charge of his big head at times, I'd be stunned ... and VERY disappointed. It just doesn't seem at all likely.

better, than Bill Clinton and miles better than "the great communicator" Reagan.

12. There's a documentary about one of his trips to Kenya.
He was amazing. Telling jokes to whole villages through an interpreter. Whatever IT is, he has it.

13. It's funny, the audience is still in campaign mode.
When have you heard crowds chanting for the President while he's talking about the economy? People LOVE this guy. He's doing a great job. It's so refreshing to have a real human being as POTUS. .

They are greater threat to Obama than the GOP.

20. Agreed. They have to manufacture controversy even if none exists for ratings
Its going to bite them some day. If Glen Beck is permitted to stay on the air, I predict that some nut is going to blow something up somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the death threats that AIG got came from his viewers.

This trip should be good for a nice bump in his ratings to shut the naysayers' traps. '

24. Damn...what a smart move, this "meet and greet" behavior.
He is showing he is NOT going to be stuck in the DC bubble, and his charisma meter ain't broke. Has there ever been a President who walked among the voters so often? With such confidence? I am really furstrted about some of his picks and choices, but sure have to admire his skills.

We may not all agree with some of the answers, but he's addressing on the ground concerns. In public, live, on TV. Kudos. :kick:
