Will Rogers was absolutely right when he said "I belong to no organized political party - I'm a Democrat". Just fifty-some short days after electing a Democrat President and Congress, the Senate 'Blue Dog' Democrats, headed by the feckless Evan Bayh have decided that they've had enough of progressive government, forming instead a splinter group whose only purpose is to slow down if not outright derail Obama's most important initiatives, all cloaked in the guide of "Deficit concern". Their concern would have been a little more impressive had it been exercised during the dictatorial Bush administration. Instead these DINO's are playing COA for reelection in their own upcoming elections, as well as displaying the general fractiousness which has for too long characterized our party. Shame on us.
