Outrage is when you actually DO something, other than whining.

I've been totally outraged for 8 fucking years now, but what good has it done me or anyone else?

We need to go BEYOND outrage, and we need to act. Not in a radical or violent way, but in a practical way.

Outrage only takes you so far.

2. They are getting numb
These days when people hear, "he stole $2 million" or "they took $600,000", on the news they're all ready making excuses and comparisons to the $700 billion. "Well if you put it into perspective, $165 million out of $700 billion is less than pennies on the dollar and only about 1/4 of a cent per tax payer so what's the big deal?"

Deaths, torture, civil liberties and the law broken? I haven't heard many excuses for those yet and wonder why other nations aren't stepping up their investigations now that Bush has left office.

6. Numb and dumber
Yeah, the old 'drop in the bucket' comparison of a few measly millions out of hundreds of billions, I'd be glad to have some of the leftover millions laying around.

3. I won't believe We the People are outraged until voters kick out every incumbent every two years
until We the People recapture our government that has been taken over by corporatists.

Abraham Lincoln set free the slaves and he prescribed a solution for our current problems, "This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember it or overthrow it."

FIGHT CORPORATISM
