1. Nothing..I want AIG to sell off all their assets...
at bargain-basement prices, and allow the Carlyle Group to buy them all up.

2. Having listened to CEO Liddy yesterday in the hearings... I think...
(hope) that he was being honest with Congress. He says that the plan is to pay back the American people with interest within 3 to 4 years. So, with that being said I would not put a limit on what we give them.... But I gotta say that like everyone else, those bonus's really rip my ass.

3. Zero.
I am of the belief (and I know that I am of minority opinion) that it doesn't matter how MUCH we throw at any company, we are headed in a downward spiral and it won't stop until all of the fake money and bubbles work themselves out of our economy. When the market corrects itself to reflect actual numbers...we should be hitting bottom about then.
I don't think ANYTHING can stop this spiral.
Help the citizens of this country. Make sure everyone has food and shelter. Fuck the capitalistic spooge that permeates it. They didn't share their wealth and I certainly don't want to share their losses.
I also don't believe in globalism.
Globalism is one of the vehicles that drove us to this destination.

4. I think they need a lot more cash
Maybe $1-5 trillion? Why the hell not - they're bankers. You can always trust bankers - they wear SUITS!

5. At this point, we may need to focus limited resources on job creation.
That's too bad, because there were/are good reasons for saving AIG. But the sad fact is they fucked that up. They shoveled tons of money into AIG with no rules about how it would be spent. Now it's gone.
