It's time to make your picks in the CREDO Bracket of Evil.

Vote in the CREDO Bracket of Evil! It's that time of year — America has basketball bracket fever. Here at CREDO, we thought we'd put a different spin on a fun tradition, and use a bracket to determine the most evil forces* at work in American politics today.

This is not just fun and games. We'll use your votes to help guide our strategy in the coming months.

So is Rush Limbaugh a bigger jerk than Bill O'Reilly? Is Wal-Mart worse for our world than Exxon? Who is the bigger threat to American families: Eric Cantor or Grover Norquist? It's up to you to help drive our agenda. Visit bracketofevil.com to make your picks. We'll let you know who the winners are when this round of voting is over, so you can see your evil favorites all the way through to the championship. And once we have a winner, CREDO Action members can work together to go after the bad guys to try and stop their evil ways.

Vote in the CREDO Bracket of Evil! It took a lot of effort (and a few passionate debates), but we narrowed the field to 16 of the evilest people and groups out there — the "Sinister Sixteen," if you will — in four categories: Government, Media, Corporate and Maverick.

Thank you for bravely working to eradicate evil. Happy bracketing!

*According to Wikipedia: "Evil, in many cultures, is a broad term used to describe intentional negative moral acts or thoughts that are cruel, unjust or selfish."

In the context of the Bracket of Evil, we're using the term "evil" to describe the danger that right-wing values pose to our country and our world. We are not attempting to cast this debate in religious terms, but rather to have some fun while making clear the stakes of the fight between a progressive "us" and a right-wing "them."
