Modernization Act of 2000?

Anyone know where there's evidence of this discussion?

2. No, I haven't heard this and I'm wondering why. Seems a damn likely first step.

3. Have not heard a word. And they need to repeal that Commodities
Futures Modernization Act IMMEDIATELY!

Why no dem has started the process proves how complicit they are in this whole mess.

5. Without Reregulation, nothing this administration does will permanently
fix the problems in the economy.

6. My Senator tells me Glass-Steagal
is "on the table". And Barney Frank is talking about comprehensive reform in May or June.

8. I sure hope so.
This would be a "huge" step in taking back this country, and helping the people instead of doing whatever works for the upper class and big corporations! The time is right and not that the public is involved, and angry, about what has happened, the pressure that they could assert on republicans might make this something that has a real chance of having both sides pass it, which would be great for the president! Look what happened this last week when Cantor and a bunch of republicans actually voted for the biggest increase in tax rates in history! Even if that bill never passes, they are all on record voting for it.

The people are really angry, and I think there are enough republicans that are getting mad at their members of congress and would help put pressure on them to vote for these things.

9. Not from Congress. I think this will be
addressed as a whole piece of legislation that comes out of the White House. This is why he's selling the economy across the country.

I just hope it has beneficial effects.
