Poll question: Should the government fire the top execs at AIG & other gov't owned investment banks & replace them?
So, with all the lying the investors and banks do, and the economic terrorism they are currently getting away with, thanks to the support of many 'anti-people's rights' reps and senators in Congress - should the President seek the firing of the top brass of these organizations and replace them with government employees that his administration chooses, so that the fraud and lies to the taxpayers ends?

If not yes or no - what is a good solution?

2. Since we own I would expect we have the power through our govt to fire them if the pres thinks so.
although, I'm no law wiz, but since they're majority owned by us, I think it's high time they be taken out of power since they cannot run the business ethically. I hope we hear more about this very soon - it's got people upset EVERY single place I go.

3. If they are too big to fail and they are failing, nationalize them. Investigate the problem and
do not be afraid to put the guilty in prison for 25+ years.

5. Fire the execs and break up the banks like they were before Phil Gramm got them consolidated and
too big to fail.

And then break them down even more.

6. superb response - I really like the sound of this - banks that get too big, and fail, cause so many
problems for the taxpayers, obviously. This idea of breaking them down is great, thank you!
