BELFAST (March 24): Court documents unsealed Friday, March 20, indicate police recovered hundreds of images and videos depicting children engaged in sex acts from the High Street home of homicide victim James Cummings.

Court documents also indicate James Cummings’ 31-year-old wife, Amber Cummings shot and killed him when he was asleep. His body was found covered with blankets in the couples’ bed. Police seized a pillow with gunshot residue on it.

According to court documents, James Cummings frequently sought information on the Internet about chemicals, and that he was interested in possibly creating an explosive device. According to his wife, James Cummings ordered chemicals needed for that purpose, and kept them in a safe inside the home.

In February, a Web site posted a FBI field report on the crime that said the makings of a “dirty bomb” were found in the Cummings' home and that James Cummings had an interest in white supremacist organizations. The alleged FBI report displayed on Wikileaks said four one-gallon containers of hydrogen peroxide, along with lithium metal, thermite, aluminum powder, beryllium, boron, black iron oxide and magnesium ribbon were discovered.
