Moms Drag Kids To Watch Fight, Shooting; 11 Arrested
ATLANTA -- Carloads of people, including numerous children, witnessed a fight Monday night between two women that included gunfire and left two people in the hospital and 11 others under arrest.

The fight involved Reba Talton, and Pamela Thompson, 20, who both have children fathered by Michael Crane.

Thompson drove to Talton's home in the 5300 block of Westford Circle off Old National Highway with approximately six car loads of people to settle an ongoing dispute, police said.

With a crowd of people, including children as young as one year old, urging them on, the two women started scuffling. Several other people joined the fisticuffs; during the battle royale at least two people pulled guns and opened fire, according to police.

Two men were hit by the gunfire and were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. John Talton, 22, was shot in the chest and was in stable condition Tuesday afternoon. Fernando Broughton, 30, was also wounded and is in stable condition at Grady.

"There were many juveniles on scene at the time the gun fire was being exchanged," said Det. Melissa Parker in a release sent to Channel 2 Action News. "All of the juveniles' mothers were at the scene. One of the vehicles that drove to the scene had approximately eight juveniles in it. All juveniles ranged from age one to nine."

Eleven people were arrested; two for aggravated assault, two for battery, 10 for disorderly conduct and four face cruelty to children charges.
