Why is Andrea Mitchell pushing the teleprompter meme? Second time she has mentioned
it now. Asked Gwen Iffel, and now is asking Chris Cillizza. Says, so why is he using the teleprompter, is tonight going to be about the teleprompter vs. no teleprompter or about the tone of the message? Are you kidding me? Andrea sounds like she's been reading up on Freeperville talking points. This is just ridiculous.

6. If he starts reading his answers to question off of it
we have a problem. I think right now he thinks everything he says effects the market, maybe as time goes on he'll use it less and less.

10. So he has a magic teleprompter that knows exactly what questions he'll be asked?
Does this magic device also instantly scroll to the exact location that has the answer to whatever question he was asked?

Jesus, you Limbaugh followers are really grasping at thin air now.

:woohoo:

Rather than post on DU, you should really be studying the issues to prepare for the big press conference tonight. The questions you've asked in the past have been less than impressive.

The lady is a repuke shill, not even capable of completing a sentence, and she has the nerve to pick on BO.

I am still waiting for someone to ask her about her husbands involvement in the current depression.

22. The better question is, why does Mrs. Greespan think I'm a daft moron?
I know all Presidents have used teleprompters.

She knows all Presidents have used telepromters.

I know that she knows that all Presidents have used teleprompters.

So, why is she trying to sell me something that I know not to be true, she knows not to be true and that I know that she knows not to be true?

26. Distracting from the real new story: the responsiblity of Alan Greenspan
for this terrible financial crisis.

Someone should point out that Obama is frequently holding Town Halls at which he does not use a teleprompter. Someone should put up one of the many videos of Bush trying with great difficulty to read a teleprompter. Oh, yes, and then there are those hilarious videos of McCain trying to used a teleprompter.

This is the old Republican tactic: Attack your opponent's strength. Obama's great strength is his ability to speak extemporaneously from his heart to large groups of people. In this, Andrea is Rove redux. She learned her lessons well from her masters, Greenspan and Rove.
