BRUCE: There's no other way to look at a side of politics that for eight years gave aid and comfort to the enemy by attacking the president. Democrat politicians and pundits, liberal pundits, hoping the war would fail, simply because they hated George W. Bush so much, calling him a liar, making a film or two about his assassination, attacking his wife and his daughters repeatedly, and now demanding decorum in how things are discussed.

Eight years calling him a monkey, a chimp, an idiot, a liar, a mass murderer, a war criminal, and I'm getting emails of people upset of me calling the Obamas trash. Talk about thin skins. My webmaster informs me that after 8 years of attacking President Bush, calling him all sorts of horrific names, suggesting he be assassinated, making a film of him being assassinated, attacking his wife and his daughters, the Left these days has a veeeeery thin skin. 16. The Obamas are the epitome of a class act.

elegance, grace, graciousness and everything the JFK White House represented to the world.

People made a lot of jokes about the Bush family's lack of class and vulgarity. I loathe Bush but I thought it was mean to ridicule his Texas "vulgarity" and Laura's clothes.

Was equally offended by comments about Paula Jones (Clinton's "friend") being "trailer park trash". The casual snobbery of Americans -- supposedly a classless society --never ceases to give me a jolt. Canadians would think twice about some of that stuff.

By American standards I would classify myself as "poor white trash" and while I am not in-your-face proud of it -- equally I am not ashamed.

The fact that the Obama family is beautiful and a class act has nothing to do with what kind of president he will be.

She's a sort of clown-- all these people are. From Hannity to Coulter to Tammy Bruce. I don't think they believe their own bullshit, but they don't care. They collect a check by sowing these kinds of "outrages".

Still, I do think the best counter for these people is highlighting their comments, because they make their fans (Republicans) look terrible.
