Just saw this on "Inside Edition" on Channel 6 here in Orlando FL...

5. Perhaps true.. that wasn't clear from the report.
They just showed her announcing it to a room full of people and breaking down crying about it.

2. She talked about it yesterday on MSNBC.
She's had several surgeries because of it.

3. Oh, God bless you Debbie. I also heard her talking on another show a few days ago
about it. I guess I wasn't paying much attention because I thought during tha interview, she said she "JAD HAD IT" but it's in remission now.

7. There were threads on this over the weekend
She has early stage breast cancer. However, she has a high genetic risk for breast cancer and ovarian cancer, because she has the BRCA2 gene. She had her ovaries taken out as well as having a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy. She has had numerous surgeries for breast reconstruction. She was able to receive care at NIH when Congress was not in session.
