Owes nothing to anything Marvel or DC are churning out nowadays. As an artist, I'd say you're at least as good as Gary Frank.

Now some nitpicks and/or random musings:

- It's "wherever," not "where ever." (Page 4)

- A bit less of Comic Book Bold Italics™ would be better. Just a bit. Maybe the word count could be lessened a bit in general, while saying the same things.

- OMG, take a look at what I was going to say before I realized he's 19, not 14. You rock. You rock HARD.

- Eric looks non-teen somehow. Maybe make him a bit thinner. Or have some character notice that he looks 20. (Maybe from the powers, I don't know what you have planned.)

- Eric must've wondered about the nature of his powers as a child, when he fell. I mean, even an unbreakable object falling from that height wouldn't leave such a crater. There's more than just invulnerability there. But I'm sure we're gonna know about that later, ain't we?

- The Istanbul landscape -- where you got it from?

Understand completely about the word count. I was afraid of puttin too little into the first eight pages and I might've ended up cramming in too much. Now that I have the forst eight out of the way, I'm going to let the story breath a little bit. Thanks again. :)

Yes there is more to Eric than meets the eye. In fact it's going to be heading into H.P. Lovecraft eventually (Just to give me a chance to sharpen some horror skills).

you just login, go to Competition - click on the box that says "Vote" beside the Children of Armageddon comic, and then click on Children of Armageddon and on the right hand side of the page choose "Add to favorites" - that's the only way the number will actually go up - there doesn't seem to be any actual running vote tally. Hope that maybe helps. heh.

Also, I was using Firefox so I know it works... at least for me. :)

for some reason I got to a page that showed my "profile" or something and the only thing it knew about me was my age as I'd put in my date of birth.
