Blagojevich says he was 'hijacked' from office
CHICAGO - Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich filled in as a radio talk show host Wednesday, using the mike to complain he was "hijacked" from office and blasting the new governor's plans for an income tax increase.

Blagojevich had a two-hour gig on WLS-AM, filling in on the "Don Wade & Roma Morning Show" because the regular hosts are off this week.

Blagojevich is a talk show novice and he acknowledged it, quipping that it was "harder than being governor."

But he quickly got more comfortable as the two-hour show wore on after initially stumbling over his title as "former governor" when he first introduced himself.

1. Not that I support what he did.
It seems to me ever since he pissed off his Father In Law things have gone terribly wrong for him.
What he is did IS Chicago Politics it's how the whole city operates. Everyone is aghast at his dealings. I'm not surprised. He was playing the game somebody got pissed off and now "OH, LOOK WHAT HE DID!!! Bullshit!! Things will continue on.

2. Yeah, well
You probably should have treated the impeachment proceedings against you a little more seriously, Rod. Tends to piss off deliberative bodies with the power to remove you from office when you're seen gallivanting around the country, bad-mouthing them, refusing to appear before their hearing, and then changing your mind at the last minute and showing up ill-prepared and combative.
