"Is it all right if I ask about race?"
What kind of question was that? Obama said of course and went on to say race hasn't even been mentioned in months and that it had sort of been put to bed after the inauguration. But really what was she asking anyway?

special treatment? Are you the President of the Black United States?"

3. it was a "racist" question to begin with....
and sort of a way to say....race must be still an issue and needs to stay that way. Even the "is it alright if I ask" was demeaning. Stupid!
