Once again, the Centrists, New Dems (Whatever) always move to
give the shaft to Middle Class. Under Clinton and now under
Obama---first thing to go: Middle Class tax cuts.

The Democratic Party is laying their future on the line. We
cannot keep making this promise and promptly throwing it out
as soon as we get into office.

I know the Budget Process is difficult, but some promises must
be kept.

2. Who cares
Everyone should have their taxes raised right now (obviously the rich more). The stimulus isn't going to pay for itself.

lessening of percentage that THE RICH will give to Charities. They're afraid that the rich people are SO GREEDY that if they don't get their big tax breaks they won't donate to charity. I say, do it anyway and if they do, it will only reflect to OBVIOUS = most rich only donate to charity for the attention and tax breaks.

8. I know how you feel--I'm from Colorado and Wayne Allard was a fact of life
until recently. Not to mention tancredo and Musgrave!

Might be time for change, especially with a younger demographic.

9. Biden was here last week to kick off Blanche's re-election campaign. That says that even if she is a
'blue dog', the administration holds out some hope.

10. It's times like this when sane people start wondering if it would be crazy
to run themselves.

Damn the DLC! (and the DNC, to a lesser extent--time to take that body over and kick ou the conservaties who run it, on a state by state basis)

5. Yes, as much as I wish to build up our party, they should be honest with themselves and us
and become Moderate Republicans.

Where have all the Moderate Republicans gone? To the Democratic Party as Blue Dogs, DLC and New Democrats. :grr: :nuke:

I wish that our *BIG* democratic tent drew the line at "Corporations First" type democrats. :(

6. Those Democrats are corporatist neocons...

...and they are the psychological cousins of the right-wing neocons that have destroyed
this country.

They are poison--if you care about democracy, decency, peace, fairness, justice and ridding the
poisonous-corporate influence that is rotting our country.
