4. I hate to admit it, but I loved Magnum P.I. because I lived on Oahu for 3 years in the 80s.
But Tom Selleck is a one-dimensional actor. :(

6. I loved the show too...
...so it was disappointing to hear about Selleck's political leanings. I can still enjoy the creative work of people with whom I don't agree, though.

8. Same here - but I draw the line at Chuck Norris. He's just too bat shit crazy to
even tune into Texas Ranger albeit I love the martial arts. :(

Some right wingers are just too freaky to enjoy their acting - Chuck is dangerous and is, in essence, calling for a revolution.

15. Norris & Patricia Heaton
Selleck is tolerable since he isn't in your face with his extreme politics, but that could change if he thinks going public will help stamp out liberals.

Maybe he wants to be president of the NRA, the dream to be chuck heston for some is strong.

3.  CNN continues to show their true colors. They go looking for people to criticize Obama
They found Fred Thompson under whatever rock he had been under. And now we need to hear what Tom Selleck has to say? They're good at picking and choosing their celebrities.

Each day they get closer and closer to Faux News

7. Outside of the gun issue, is Selleck all that conservative?
I really don't know. I just remember his showdown with Rosie back in the 90s on her show.

9. I consider him a low-information conservative. In his heart, he's democratic, but there's the
manly image to nurture.

12. If true. I'll apologize. But that still doesn't excuse the road CNN has been traveling

13. It looks like a mix here. He basically told Cheney to shut up.
And doesn't want Obama to fail.

17. he might be a Ron Silver type
not like most Republicans or Conservatives. but one issue they feel strongly on which is supported by Republicans. in the case of Silver it was war and with Selleck it's guns.

but on other issues they can be liberal or no strong opinion.
