Tornados and almost 80 degree weather on Monday and BLIZZARD on friday
I hate Kanas weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WICHITA - The winter storm bearing down on Kansas could deliver a foot or more of snow to the Wichita area and as much as 20 inches in western sectors of the state, forecasters say.

Snowfall estimates for Wichita by the time the storm ends Saturday vary from 6 to 15 inches, with strong north winds creating blizzard conditions.

A blizzard warning has been issued for south-central Kansas, including Wichita, from 7 a.m Friday to 1 p.m. Saturday. A blizzard warning for southwest Kansas began at 1 a.m. today and will extend until 7 a.m. Saturday.

1. I suppose it could be worse and happen all at once.
But seriously, that does sound sucky.

2. The North American Plains ....
A theater for diverse air masses engaging in battle ....

Some wicked shit ....

I spent 3 Spring months in Boulder CO a few years ago ..... A battle every day, for a few hours as the Plains air smacked into the Rockies ....

I loved it ...

3. The clouds over the Rio Grande Valley all day
refused to relinquish a single drop of rain or flake of snow.

Oh, well, maybe next week.

4. I miss Kansas
At least the weather there changes. I've been stuck in Groundhog Day with cloudy skies, temps in the lower 40's and occasional rain for what seems like forever. I wake up in the morning and it is gray and eventually it gets dark. That's it. I take that back. Once in a while we get a lot of wind. But hey, that's to be expected being so close to DC.
