Is it just me or is it ironic they the wars on terror and in Iraq have been waged so as to protect our way of life. In the interim, our comfortable way of life is disappearing.

Ease the credit, go shopping, live large while we go protect your livelihood, only to have it all come crashing down, and yet still our soldiers die, our fortune is gone and our future looks bleak. All this in 7-1/2 years. Our congress consist of bought and paid for politicians and media, hell bent on fighting all that is right, our planet is dieing and they laugh and make jokes about it, and fight every attempt to correct the situation, all for the sake of money and power. Power over what?

History will not be kind to our generation, our over-sized houses, our has guzzling suv's, our over maxed credit cards, our spiraling debt and our desire to obtain more and more material things.

History will not be kind.

1. Not "our" lifestyles. The elites lifestyle is the one they
care about.

2. Bingo , the day dimple said that I said whose 'lifestyle'
since it was rumored the company that my partner worked for was going to be sold overseas..the rumor was true....life for us has not been the same since.
On the other hand we made the best of what we could and now live on a start up eco farm in the woods...shoestring anyone?
