5. Not so bad
The worst blizzards on the plains are in March and April.

And it's Saturday so it's not too inconvenient.

12. And, I for one am almost always worried about water here.
Hasn't been so bad last year and maybe this year, so far, but we've had some VERY dry years in the last couple of decades.

One of our biggest aquifers, in western Kansas, has been declining, due to irrigation. We are an agrarian state and that aquifer, at its present level of use is only supposed to last another 25 years. The east side of the state is quite metropolitan, but my son says if he gets laid off again, he's going somewhere where water won't be a problem.

15. Hw could buy our home. We are up high from the Mississippi in MN.
but have access to the River, which is a tad bit cleaner here since it is above the Cities. Two large Cities within a half hours drive also, one area greatly expanding. We also have a well. :>) Just putting it out there.

9. Oh that's beautiful. Maybe not convenient, but it sure is beautiful. One of the
worst blizzards I can remember was April 1, 1985. So none of us are out of the woods yet.

Have you have any 70 degree weather yet? Here in E-I-E-I-O-ville we've had a few days in the high 60s and low 70s and then went right back to winter. It's as if Mother Nature was going through menopause.

16. I don't want any more snow days
This will be the first year ever in all the years I have been in my district that we don't have to make up snow days. We are actually getting out in May!!

:bounce:

So please no more snow days.
