2. We Went Out Walking- apparently Nobody Knew or Cared Here This Year
Tons of lights on, big screen tvs, etc. Last year our neighborhood was pretty dark.

3. It's difficult to tell whether or not my neighbors are "observing Earth Hour" or not
b/c we have ALL have been 'turning off'/'toning down' our electrical usage in this middle-class neighborhood to cut down on our costs/bills. It's a matter of survival.

Last year, I went for a walk and reported that it "seemed" people were participating. It's an icy rain tonight, and I'm not going out for a walk.

Everything except my compie is off here.

5. I think I might do Earth Evening. I can run the laptop off a battery,
turn on my battery radio, and light some candles, and just relax with a cup of tea.......

6. I thought it was 7:30 to 8:30 here in the Central Time Zone
Turned the TV back on & fired up the computer & whoopsie, it's 8:30 "local time." :( I did turn my lights back off though.
