Ex Boyfriend Tries To Peddle Ashley Biden Cocaine Video

What is it with politicians' kids? As if we hadn't already had our fill of the never-ending saga of Bristol Palin's teenage pregnancy and baby daddy, now we have Joe Biden's daughter.

Ashley Biden, a 27-year-old social worker, has apparently been caught on video with her boyfriend snorting cocaine at a party. And that boyfriend (now an "ex") is trying to sell the video.

According to the New York Post, whose lawyers have seen the video allegedy of Joe Biden's daughter: "a 20-something woman with light skin and long brown hair taking a red straw from her mouth, bending over a desk, inserting the straw into her nostril and snorting lines of white powder." And later: “At one point she pretty much complains that the line isn’t big enough, and she talks about her dad.”

I'm not going to cast any stones here, but I will say that it certainly seems parenting is hard for everyone - no matter what party affiliation.

This is rather sad and it's even sadder her ex-boyfriend is now trying to sell the video.


on edit- I saw it when I was looking at the website for my local paper. I posted it because it will probably go viral. I also edited the title. As I said it's sad because it shows how vulnerable we are in the youtube age and what some folks will do for filthy lucre.

18. This Story Keeps Changing

First it was that it showed a man on the video who was supposedly her boyfriend and now it was taken by her ex-boyfriend? First it was that she knew she was being taped and now it's a hidden camera? Then the lawyer (the firm is a business law firm) quit because of the publicity? Isn't that what you want when trying to sell a tape of the VP's daughter doing allegedly doing something illegal?

There was supposedly another tape shot in August showing her allegedly doing same and seller couldn't get anyone to buy it? Was this before or after the news about Bristol Palin broke? Those Republican oppo research folks missed this? The same oppo research folks who turned the internet upside down looking for the "whitey" tape?

She had no Secret Service protection with her because she complained about it and her dad dismissed them? Um...this happened last month and the Secret Service doesn't leave a protectee, any protectee without security.

Perhaps it is true after all, but something smells about the whole thing aside from the fact that whomever took the video and is now trying to sell it is an ass...

acknowledging any of television's or the tabloids historic role in promoting sordid scenes of one kind or another and of invading the privacy of a person; celebrity or not.

As if Mexico devolving into a war zone over turf-battling drug lords isn't enough of a reason to rethink our nation's drug policies, perhaps the Veep's 27 year old daughter will turn the tide. Is this video of Ashley Biden (allegedly) snorting cocaine really so shocking? People use drugs. American citizens use drugs. The Michael Phelps fiasco failed to start an honest conversation about recreational drug use in our country. Legislators have to realize that "JUST SAY NO" is a naive message. Remember alcohol prohibition? And still, at a virtual town hall meeting last week, Obama laughed off a suggestion to fix our ailing economy by legalizing pot. Hilarious? Well, we'd be laughing all the way to the bank if we taxed marijuana - Forbes magazine just placed Mexican drug emperor Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman on its world's richest people list.
