These animals are usually taken well taken care of, but in today's economy, I hope there's still some kind of honor. I"m sure there is, but still...

And yes, it looks like the cop took the brunt of it. Which sucks too, since the horse police are usually great guys.

This guy was involved in some very high profile cases, like the Preppy murder, and also the terrible Central Park Jogger rape and beating. He goes way back.
