US Marshals Seize Madoff's 2 Boats In Florida
(04-01) 09:16 PDT MIAMI (AP) --

Jailed financier Bernard Madoff's 55-foot luxury yacht and a smaller vessel have been seized by U.S. Marshals in Florida.

The boats were taken Wednesday from two different marinas.

Marshals' spokesman Barry Golden says the yacht named "Bull" is a 1969 Rybovich and was "extremely well kept." A a 24-foot motor boat belonging to Madoff also was seized.

1. the feds just moved Stanford's 120-foot 'Sea Eagle' yacht about 2 weeks ago...
from here in St. Croix (where it was an obvious sight) to St. Thomas, where they could mix it in with cruise ships and other larger vessels...

the feds were worried about the 'security' here in Christiansted...yeah, there are probably more than a few people who wouldn't mind 'seizing' that asset...
