Warrant-less wire tapping

"Warrant-less wire tapping" I just wanted to say the words while they remain a part of the english language. Granted, they mean as little as the words liberty or constitution these days, but put together they have sort of a special meaning all of their own and so its nice to say them now and then just to remind ourselves of another time.

Now I know we all can do it! If it's not illegal, then why not tap that obnoxious co-worker, neighbor, or boss?

Who's to say who is "authorized" and who isn't if it's not illegal?
