Is there anything not insane about Glenn Beck?
Really. He's a cartoon version of himself and completely off balance. When I taste something distasteful, I don't question whether my taste buds are working, and likewise, when I hear Glenn Beck, I know I'm hearing a lunatic. Lately, his insanity has been fuel for comedians and late night fodder. Glenn Beck is the new face of intellectual avoidance. He seems to have surpassed Limbaugh and O'reilly for the top spot in emotionally narcissistic grandiosity. And it wouldn't matter any if he were like all the other loons who we attempt to avoid.

But this disgusting self promoting moralizing false pieter is becoming the most listened to person in the country. His brand of hate will set a new goal for the grotesqueness that must be surpassed. I almost can't wait.

1. Don't worry.
He is only getting attention for the same reason a guy wandering naked down the street yelling to himself gets attention. It will end.

2. He's crazy all the way to the bank.
His character is just more over the top than Limbaugh's or O'Reilly's.

7. They both want to de-empower the Federal Reserve.

That's a significant issue, I'd say. One that I agree with.

The Fed has played a significant role in bringing us to where we are today.

And they are both right on this particular issue.

Since you asked.

10. Oh totally
Saying it took him a year to hate the 9/11 victims and defending the guy who went on a shooting rampage in Alabama - he was oppressed by political correctness! - is hilarious.

It might be fun to laugh at his forced tears about 9.12, but he is not funny.

17. I honestly cant understand why anyone listens to these fools
Because my job had me on the road most of the day, the radio was my companion. It was tough listening to commercial music radio because it was all the same shit and not very good. Until like 1990 talk radio wasn't so bad. Local stations actually had people who could carry on a coherent and logical discussion. With the domination of syndicated content, I just turned it off. If it's music, you've got 10 stations carrying the same stuff up and down the dial. If it's talk radio, you've got the same hand full of opinionated bloviators all across the country. The only selling point I can see for them is as agitators, say outrageous stuff, piss people off, create some controversy. That might get the outlets some ratings to improve the ad revenue. After all, any commercial media is using the audience as slave labor to make money from the advertisers.

My advice is if you can't listen to these tools and laugh at their idiocy and help other people share in your perception, turn it off. I'm sure it will make you much physically healthier, not to mention saving your sanity.
