Keeping the money rolling in vs fixing the economy.
Here is how I am viewing the problem. All the fixes that are in play now are designed to keep the money rolling in to the stock-market. They are not designed to save and create jobs. The bailouts are immediate while jobs programs are down the road.

1. well.....
a bank near where i live received 1.6 million from the government. 1.6 million in a city of 15,000 would really help people buy stuff to help the economy keep going. cars ,housing, home improvements, small business loans, etc, etc. but no... citibank of chicago decided to call in their 1.3 loan to the small bank so out of the 1.6 the small bank had 300 thousand to loan.

it`s not about the stock market,it is all about the working class buying the bad debt of the banks.

Citi bank would do what with the money? Buy other banks or play on the stock market? I can only see the negative side of the big banks with money.
