Another thing about CNN and the G20
The whole world is drowning in its own poverty, and rather than address (or even mention) any of the legitimate complaints of the historically stomped-on masses, CNN devotes huge swaths of airtime to its commentators who chuckle at the made-to-seem-futile antics of the protestors.

In addition, rather than talking about what the G20 might actually be doing, CNN has been looping that clip about the broken window at The Bank of Scotland.

Shame on those protestors, who should appreciate just how lucky they are to be able to feed on scraps and drippings.

2. Funny thing about the BBC news
It's not superior because it's British; it's superior because it's insulated from the demands of market competition. Therefore it's primary function isn't to fill airtime between Cialis commercials.

3. global economic crisis will cause an additional 22 children to die per hour
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/02/opinion/02kristof.html?em

according to World Bank estimates, the global economic crisis will cause an additional 22 children to die per hour, throughout all of 2009.
The World Bank says it’s possible the toll will be twice that: an additional 400,000 child deaths, or an extra child dying every 79 seconds.
