G-20: solutions for the world?
Let us not foget that while the G-20 is herald as more representative of other powers, it still does not fully reflect the world economic system. African nations are represented by South Africa and not a Sub Saharan nation, who are bearing a large cost of the current crisis. Neither is Latin America or South East Asia adequately represented (while East Asia nations like China, Japan and South Korea occupy seats). The G-20 will solve mainly western economic failures and attempt to placate its emerging market economy members like India and China, but the developing world will be the last of all concerns.
