3. Justified despair (OK - two words). I have known for decades that the system we live under

was corrupt and rigged for the benefit of those high up on the food chain - that's the justified part.

But the despair comes from knowing that the damage has been so extensive and deep that I do question whether we can pull out of it.

The drunk pilot has already bailed out and is living on their tropical island with their stolen trillions. The passengers are still strapped in - the plane is diving into the ground - all we can do is clutch our underseat flotation device and hope it cushions the impact a bit.

But, in the end, we all will die. Primarily because there are those idiots in "business class" who think because they got free tickets courtesy of their companies, the CEO/pilot will come back for them. So, they will fight anyone who tries to get into the cockpit to save the plane.
