3. I watch Wealth on Wheels (Wealth TV).
I love cars, and any excuse to watch supercars and uberexotica works for me.

I also like the megayacht shows. Guess I like boats too.

The rest of it is shit. Wrestling has become too much of a script.

4. I love the History Channel. There's not nearly as much war stuff on there anymore.
Though I enjoyed most of that, too, as I have major interest in WW2. But they show plenty of fascinating shows. I just got rid of cable and it's the only channel I miss that doesn't televise hockey. :)

36. I'm busted on the Military Channel and the History Channel, too.
I find the History International Channel more interesting than the History Channel, though, if only because there are fewer reality shows.

And they seem to have mixed themselves up with Discovery. Weird lineup.

And you missed "The Hitler Conspiracy" in there

14. I love BBCA
Edited on Sat Apr-04-09 12:00 AM by Warpy
and the people with the filthy houses who make me feel quite tidy in comparison. I love the people who eat only junk food getting introduced to vegetables. I even love the people rummaging around in their houses for (usually ugly) antiques to sell at auction to get some consumer trinket or other. I especially love Gordon Ramsay, whether he's cussing a blue streak or puking up a rotten scallop in an alley.

I love Ru Paul's "Drag Race" on LOGO, even though IMO the wrong queen won.

The one channel I don't love to the point that I can no longer watch it is HGTV, the house porn channel. Most of the people you see on it have gone on to foreclosure, their dreams turned to dust. The spoiled people buying dream properties on Caribbean islands make me want to vomit since I have a good idea what they did to the rest of us to be able to afford those million dollar properties. The makeovers are generally impractical, to say the least. I usually like the "before" picture better.

I also have a lot of trouble with the history channels showing so much religious and quasi religious programming. Enough, already, there are at least ten bible beater stations cluttering up the lineup and that should be plenty.

I guess BBCA is my closet viewing, the stuff I generally don't admit to in polite company, not that I see much polite company.

19. umm - How I Met Your Mother on DVD?
Edited on Sat Apr-04-09 12:07 AM by MedleyMisty
It's a trippy vision into how the world works for extroverted "normal" people who go out and drink a lot and seem to totally buy into mainstream culture. We started watching it because it has the guy who played Dr. Horrible.

Haven't watched TV other than a couple of series on DVD in a decade and have never had cable in my life.

and keep them separate from the rest of my DVDs because my friends like to root through them, lol. Once they found Princess Bride and about a month later I came home and my walls had homemade Princess Bride posters all over the place. Men. Lol.

39. Wrestling? Andre the Giant would kick your butt
- except that he's dead.

I've watched wrestling since Gorilla Monsoon from Outer Mongolia (really from upstate New York) was in the squared circle.

The best in the last 15 or 20 years was the New World Order angle on NITRO.

The current stuff is bad, but I still watch it.

I friggin enjoy watching this stuff! Way better than most of the crap shown on television. Other favorite is The Universe on the History Channel (why the hate against Hist Ch here??) most of whats shown on that show should put most religious nutbags in their place even though most will never change their belief or scoff it off as BS.
