but I suppose he means that it's not a "manly" "christian" sport unless everyone wears crash helmets and armour and stops for a rest every time they move forward a couple of yards? Or does he mean something that Americans are good at? Maybe he'd prefer Rollerball.

7. I Wonder If The Japanese Consider Baseball An Invasion?

Sheesh. I'm no soccer fan, but the ignorance and strawmen games there takes stupidity to new levels...sure to be topped by another Freeper "outrage".

Dare we break it to these losers that some form of soccer or football was played in this country before Football and Baseball? The funny thing is these goons probably throw their money at other sports that have been "invaded"...seeing Ichiro play baseball, Dirk Nowitzki play for their "All American" Dallas Mavericks...not to mention all the "feriners" working their way into the NFL and that dominate the NHL (my bets Freepers don't consider Hockey "American" anywho). Then there are foreign golfers and even (shiver) NASCAR drivers.

I guess this is a good time waster for them...I'm sure FISA will cancel the next World Cup now that they know how bad their sport is. :rofl:

9. Given the political leanings of some of the...

ultras -- I'm thinking of Lazio, Real Madrid, and a bunch of other top-flight clubs -- you'd think they'd all be taking up the game instead.
