Diana Palin, Sarah Palin's Sister-In-Law, Accused Of Breaking Into Home

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Police say Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's sister-in-law is accused of breaking into the same home twice to steal money.

Deputy Wasilla Police Chief Greg Wood says 35-year-old Diana Palin was arrested Thursday after she was confronted by the homeowner in the governor's hometown of Wasilla. She faces two counts of felony burglary and misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass and theft.

Wood says tire tracks and shoe prints tied Palin to another break-in Tuesday in which $400 was taken. Police have not tied Palin to another burglary at the home last week.

1. What a lovely family those Palins have
:sarcasm: Perhaps Sarah's halo is getting a bit tarnished these days.

3. Some families are full of characters
And when your family is in the public spotlight, these things really stand out.

5. For MILFy McMooseburger, fame has become an albatross around her neck
If she hadn't been propelled headlong into the national spotlight last year - and if she hadn't milked that fifteen minutes of fame far beyond its shelf life - these minor scandals wouldn't have nearly as much of a cumulative effect on her reputation. Each story - by itself - may have gotten a bit of play close to home, but the entire nation wouldn't have lasciviously lapped up each new peccadillo with relish if she hadn't made such a conscious effort to keep her mug plastered across our TV screens and magazine covers.

To all you schemers who wanted to keep Sarah Palin's name in the news: your product was defective from the get-go, and each subsequent revelation into the Palin's tawdry existence only serves to marginalize and caricature. No, 'luck' has nothing to do with it; it's your lousy sense of how *most* Americans perceive the Palin clan that stinks so badly. You may have some success with that 23% 'backwash' contingent, but you'll never redeem your faulty product in the eyes of Sane America.
