Kansas man charged with threatening Bush

NEWTON, Kan. | A 38-year-old south-central Kansas man has been charged in connection with making a threat against former President George W. Bush.

Eric W. Bradley, of Newton, has been charged with one count of making a threat against a former president.

According to the indictment, Newton threatened on March 20 to injure and kill Bush.

He has been accused of telling U.S. Secret Service agents in Pawnee County that he would "strangle the life out" of Bush. He also allegedly said he would "do whatever I could, including my own death, to kill" Bush.

He's already a drunk, he's rumored to be using other drugs, and he has no reason any more to look sober or be responsible. I imagine in five years he'll do something fatal; I just hope it's only to himself. (I.E., I hope he doesn't drunk-drive and crash into a family in a van or something.)
