Unbelievable: Against the backdrop of escalating UK-Iran tensions, Thomas McInerny, ex- Air Force official and Fox News analyst, contributes an op-ed to the Journal suggesting that the US exploit Iran’s ethnic diversity in a bid to bring down the Islamic Republic. US airpower, combined with support for ethnic minority militias could collapse the regime, he argues. In fact, this policy will tear apart the state of Iran and create one more ungovernable disaster zone, sandwiched between two others in Iraq and Afghanistan.

3. There aren't enough US troops to occupy Iran, and bombing Iran will only inspire nationalism.
They may or may not overthrow the Mullahs because they hate them as it is. Even if they did, the government that replaces them will STILL BE hostile to the US government.
