Why is Today giving air time to a radical right wing screed-master? She has been thoroughly discredited during the past several years, and everyone she has supported and every policy she has supported has been proven wrong, and rejected by America.

It is time for the producers to start casting a wider net for people who have informed opinions on the day’s issues.

Ingraham doesn't have anything to say, but that apparently doesn't faze the lazy producers at the Today Show, who provided a platform for her to show what she doesn't know. Very good e-mail, direct and to the point.

For a fun little exercise, compare and contrast NBC's coverage of the Obama trip with, oh, let's say George W. Bush's flight deck strut on the USS Abraham Lincoln. Who got plum commenting assignments? How many folks got on the air to talk about how the ship was delayed from arriving in San Diego for a couple of days so that Bush could have his photo op? And you can go from there. Obama has a very successful, very needed trip through Europe to visit with other heads of state and to demonstrate personally that the United States is no longer run by Bush leaguers. And Today's featured commentator on it? Laura Ingraham.
