Alex Jones, Rush, Bachmann, Beck-Explain your "revolution".
Calls are coming daily from these right wing extremists to arm up and stockpile arms and ammunition and to rise up in a violent revolution.

A revolution to overthrow a democratically elected govt. What they can't win at the ballot box they appear to want to take with the gun, in a violent revolution.

Would a revolution to overthrow a dem elected govt replace that govt with another democracy? NO!

Dictatorship would almost certainly follow.

I know, I know this all sounds crazy.

Then again, Progressives have a track record of not taking things seriously until it's too late.

That's why it is time to call on the right to explain their nutjob revolution. What are the details?
Revolution means change, so what is their alternative to democracy?

Alex Jones, Limpbaugh, Beck, Coulter are calling for revolution on a daily basis on their radio and/or TV broadcasts.

Michele Bachmann R-MN said in March 2009..

"I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back. Thomas Jefferson told us ‘having a revolution every now and then is a good thing,’ and the people – we the people – are going to have to fight back hard if we’re not going to lose our country. And I think this has the potential of changing the dynamic of freedom forever in the United States.”

Calling for revolution against America, does that not fit the description of treason? A high crime and an impeachable offense.

Did Bachmann commit an impeachable offense with that statement?

I feel it's time to call it what it is.

Calls for a bloody, violent revolution against our democratically elected government should be called treason.

1. It's The Second Level Spewers...
When pushed to clarify their inflamatory rhetoric, you'll get a Bachmann or Drek claim that their words either were taken out of context, or that their use of "revolution" is purely theatric or metaphorical, but it doesn't take a nobel lauriate linguist to read between their very large lines.

While what they say and how they say it must be watch closely and exposed and denounced where we can, the problem gets worse with the echo chamber that takes these "claims" and attacks and amp them up...repeating the misinformation and lies over and over in attempt to create "fact" through repetition...and outrage as well. It's the local hate radio spewers or the blogger in Freeperville or Stormfront who really churn this crap that is manifesting itself in some very ugly pictures. It's as if these wingnuts have lost all self dignity...they're acting like 3 year olds who keep yelling louder and louder when their demands aren't being listened to.

Unfortunately I don't see this vitriol ebbing any time soon and it may already have set in motion a cycle of violence and intolerance and social/civil unrest that we haven't experienced in this country in 40 years.

We must be vigilent, but to shut these demagogues down with reason and ridicule...or let their own venom poison themselves out of relevence.

Cheers...
