Johnston-Palin war of words continue-Mercedes calls Palins "snobby"
-----

"I'm just trying to get my side of the story out there and letting people know who I am," he said in the interview with CBS that aired Wednesday, adding that the biggest misconception about his is "probably that my family is white trash."

In the interview, his second national television sit-down in the last week, Johnston also said his relationship with Bristol Palin began to go deteriorate when Sarah Palin returned to Alaska after the presidential election in Alaska.

"I think when she got back is when it went downhill," he said. "They don't think of me the same way anymore."

-----

Johnston's sister Mercede, also taking part in the interview, was even harsher in her assessment of the Palins, saying they are downright "snobby."

"Look what they are doing," she said. "They are lying trying to save themselves. They are the ones that asked for it. They brought him to the campaign. They should have known what was coming."

18. "Yeah, I got a question...If you're that baby's daddy, where you been at?"
Little hat-tip to fans of the Jerry Springer cameo on "The Simpsons"...

"The Clampetts Palins Move to Hooterville"

At least the Clampetts were honest, hard working people. That certainly doesn't apply to the Palin bunch. But I must say, having a Mother involved in illegal drugs (Johnston's mom), a sister burglarizing houses (Tod's sis), another Mother who is a dishonest politician (Sarah), a family that enjoys shooting animals from helicopters, having a baby while still in high school, etc., sounds like white trash to me.

10. Bristol appears to be much smarter than her moronic mother

At least Bristol has the good sense to keep her mouth shut.

11. Bristol's saving it up for a BOOK.. "Governor, Dearest"
Why "give it away free" on junk-tv, when there's a book-deal ahead :)

8. It's absolutely comical
that a grown woman can't resist responding to a teenager. If she'd just shut up, nobody would even be interested. Ohhh, NOOOOOO. Every time Palin responds to Levi Johnston's comments, she keeps the story alive for another news cycle.

It'll be interesting to see what happens next! :woohoo:

9. From the interview that was missed by most people

When Levi was asked about how he found out Bristol was pregnant, he answered something to the effect that "this time" Bristol broke it to him in such and such a way.

"This time"?

Was Trig the first time?

14. Duh.. of course he was..

I still maintain that Trig was probably born in the dead of winter..a preemie... (in early Feb).. Bristol was safely tucked away in Wasilla, covered by bulky coats..

When he was born with Down syndrome, Mom's plan was to claim him..probably to spare Bristol ...Grandma would be raising him anyway..so why not.. If his birthweight was low (as down babies often are), that's why she claimed to be 7 months...

The ridiculous "birth"-day flight story probably resulted from close scrutiny on how UN-pregnant she looked, and the fact that Trig was now big enough to be claimed as newborn.. and at 8 months (which she would have been) that would be an acceptable birthweight

Fertile teens can---and DO get pregnant soon after a birth.. especially if that teen is pissed at Mom for "taking her baby away"...

What does a fundy Mom do then? Out her daughter as a girl who pops out two babies in a year..unmarried? ..especially when Mommy-dearest has poitical aspirations?

Personally, I feel sorry for ALL those kids..but things have a way of being exposed, and I think little levi is gonna spill the beans on the guv...

13. I don't think Palin will run for re-election as Gov in '10, I think she would lose
and her political career would be over then and there. I think she will announce she won't run so she can devote full time to running for president in '12.
